It goes without saying that you will certainly need more than a rough per word or per line estimate for the translation of your text. By the same token, I prefer not to give firm quotations without first having thoroughly examined the source text document.
It is therefore best for both of us if you send me the texts to be translated by e-mail, so that I can prepare a proper quotation.
Time is money
From many years of professional experience, I know that most translations are required urgently.
It stands to reason, therefore, that you expect a quick response to your inquiry. You can rest assured that you will definitely receive a prompt quotation via e-mail, and if requested, a call from me to answer any other questions you may have.
Does your document exist only as a PDF file?
Using the latest conversion software (OCR software), the text of your PDF files can be converted seamlessly into a countable and editable format.
This is clearly to your advantage:
- Even for complex documents, you will receive a firm quotation before work begins.
- There will be no surcharge for any reformatting.
So that you have a better idea before submitting your document for a quotation, the following are the main criteria considered when pricing a translation:
- Subject field
- Degree of difficulty
- Scope
- Urcency of the document
